Ringos!

As a Christmas treat Akela arranged for her cubs to go to the Southampton ski slopes to try Ringos!

We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would love to try it again!

The first thing we did was to try the Ringos on a tiny training slope. It was quite small but still great fun.

This is me above!
Next the instructor showed us how to use the Ringo lift.

We had to stand at the bottom of the slope and wait for the lift pole to come around. You then had to grab hold of it and let it pull you up the slope while holding on to your Ringo!

This is me on the Ringo lift!
After the exhausting journey to the top of the slope we had to wait in line for our turn to go down the slope.

Once we reached the front of the queue one of the instructors pushed us down the slope, and would spin us round if we wanted to.

Some cubs spun so fast they looked like they might fall out on the way down!

About half way down there was a huge bump in the track, and some of the cubs were asking to be pushed down so they would go over it!

It was great fun, but by the end of the evening we were all really tired!
