Explorer Scouts |
|
| |
|
|
The Age range for Explorer
Scouts is 14-18; you can join Explorer scouts from the scout troop any
time between 14 to 15. You should join when you are ready, perhaps with
a group of friends.
The Scout District manages explorer Scouts and Units may be linked to
Groups (such as the 13th). There are a number of units in the district
each with a different programme of Events. As an Explorer Scout you can
do activities with more than one unit.
Each Explorer Scout Unit will have it’s own Programme that links to the
activities being organised by District.
You also have the opportunity to be a Young Leader, This means you can
help with Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.

The Scout Network |
|
| |
|
|
|
The age range is from 18 to 25 years and gives the
young person an opportunity to use skills and try exciting new
challenges. You don’t have to belong to a local Scout Network. You could
sign up with the County/Area and find out what’s happening near you. The
Scout Network is run by the members for the members. As a member of the
Scout Network, it’s your decision how many activities you take part in.
